The Midea Plasma Filter filtration system uses plasma technology alongside other filtering and disinfecting techniques to provide complete air purification. Its plasma technology releases positive or negative ions as needed to neutralize impurities and allergens. Additionally, it uses anions to remove particulates, microbes, and odors from the air; a UV lamp to destroy viruses and bacteria; and a True HEPA filter to capture up to 99/97% of other stray particles of up to 0.3 micron.
